IS FREEDOM TRUTH?

Is this your symbol of Freedom? It is the certificate of your ability to receive and enjoy truth in our country, USA! It is not the First Amendment that gives you freedom, not at all. Many of those of our own country have forgotten what the First Amendment really means and have prostituted it into many convoluted replicas that are used to meet individual needs according to public popularity at the present time.

You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. John 8:31-32

Why would Jesus say that to his followers? It is simple. Jesus is the one and only source of truth. If you accept him, abide in him and allow him to abide in you then you will learn the whole and real truth. In following him you will see the reality of all issues, you will be freed from the grasp of Satan's deception.

Freedom is truth. Freedom is not a permission to do as you choose. It is the freedom to follow God in the good and the bad times. Truth and the keeping of it delivers you from death. Only the body dies the spirit goes into God's presence and enjoys peace and joy for an eternity. We shall be eternally free from sadness, pain, fear, or anything that is what we hate here on this earth.

When we have accepted the Lord and we begin to grow in his word Jesus' perfect rule will be grown in us and we will be set free and directed to follow the plan God had for each of us before the foundation of this earth.

Only God gives freedom through truth! Our founding fathers knew this. They did not want religion established; instead they knew God wanted only that man would be free totally free to choose what they wanted to follow, not to refuse others the expression of their knowledge of truth.

God bless you all. May you know the honorable and total truth!

You that are reading here, please leave a comment. It feels like a bucket that never fills when it is deep under water. Be blessed in all that you do for the Lord.

Dear Justi,

Thought-provoking post. You say that freedom is truth. I think it may be more correctly said that (knowledge of) Truth is freedom, given that you say Jesus is the source of truth and that Jesus himself said "I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father but by me." Jn. 14:6. So then to know, not merely know about, the truth, is to align yourself with the One who is indeed the source of all truth and to be allowed to see whatever He wants to show you. What a blessing! And what a lady! Good post. George
